Friends The Eagle is flying across America with a copy of the US Constitution waving in her talons; Thomas Paine is pleading for "common sense"; the light in the Statue of Liberty seems to be dimming; the moral fabric of America is shredding...will good men and women do nothing, or reclaim America from corrupt politicians?
Federalist Paper Number 1 states: "Some will forget that the main reason for government to exist is for the protection of liberty; carefully considered, government and liberty should not be separated. What might appear to be a desire for the rights of the people often proves to be a true desire for the power and ambition of men. The desire for a strong government does not tempt men quite so much to this sort of dangerous ambition. History teaches us that a concern for the strength of government offers less of a threat to liberty. History shows that most people who are responsible for undermining the liberty of republics start their careers by seducing the people. They start out as great speakers, manipulating the people with prejudice and emotion, but they end up as tyrants." Bold, courageous, decisive, sacrificial action at the ballot box in November 2008 is necessary to preclude a danger clearly outlined in the quote above by a Founding Father. Our Constitution must be rescued from the dark corners of oblivion...if necessary it will be forced down the throats of unwilling politicians who reject it's authority. America must step outside the two major political parties and exercise the power of the people without being constrained by a political apparatus. It doesn't much matter where they come from; what their religion is or not; whether black, white, or some other color...male or female...Democrat, Republican or Independent. A majority of United States citizens are beyond angry because "I am America but I no longer matter." America is asking what happened to "of the people, by the people, for the people", not of the elite, by the party, for the few? The American people have been forgotten, betrayed, viewed by politicians as irritants for decades...like wise, the disgust, anger by America at corrupt government has been bubbling in a cauldron that is near boiling over...the eruption may occur in November 2008. Over 300 million citizens in America and we can't do better than McCain and Obama? Here's a question we must ask ourselves...how many fingers does it take to count all the politicians currently in government that you trust? Are politicians actually using the United States Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of rights, and other Founding Father documents as their bench-mark to govern? Or, are they using their own personal agenda, political apparatus crutch, incestuous power system as their god? Can we honestly trust the government status quo, to include McCain and Obama? Are "we the people" willing to continue to prostrate ourselves as political whores serving people like McCain, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Graham, and corporations, bankers, and sinister organizations who buy and sell America? Patriots Revolt recommendation has been and is for a third party candidate to speak as an alternative to the "more of the same" two major party presidential candidates of McCain and Obama. While many of us may not agree with every jot and tittle of Keyes, Baldwin, Barr, or Paul, any of the four would be an improvement over the option of McCain or Obama. We will win a decisive victory if the percentage of votes for the third party exceed 35% of the total vote...some say this is a pipe-dream, won't happen...it can happen if America pulls together from coast to coast and casts off what we know is wrong, reject those that violate constitutional principles, dismiss candidates more concerned about power and control than America's best interests, and above all pull the lever for America not a politician. While there may be multiple conservative candidates and we may not agree on a single candidate, we must agree to hold firm and vote for a third party candidate and demonstrate "we the people's" rejection of McCain and Obama. The imperative is to vote for anyone but McCain or Obama...the person that most closely meets Patriots Revolt view of Constitutional principles, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and Federalist Paper guidance is Dr. Alan Keyes. A major task is to mobilize public opinion to the point that Alan Keyes will meet the subjective 15% public opinion status as a presidential candidate. If the public opinion polls reach 15% favorable for Alan Keyes, he will be able to participate in Presidential Debates. If Alan Keyes is in the presidential debates, truth will emerge, McCain and Obama will be required to defend their unconstitutional positions. The result would be a glorious meltdown of two artificial pieces of veneer. America will truly be able to witness a candidate that puts the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Federalist Paper admonition as the bedrock of his candidacy. Now is the time to exercise courage, determination, and stand with our Founding Fathers. Don't believe the distortions, fabrication, half-truths of the major party pimps...they are trying to sell American sovereignty and willing to elect one failure or one without enough experience to be a failure, by convincing us a vote for other than McCain and Obama is wasted...this is a direct attack on the intelligence of American citizens and a bald face lie...will we fall for the distortions, fabrications, deceit of squealing political hacks who fear their trough might dry up? God help us to stand above the muck and mire of political garbage. Finally: Americans have never been so fed up with corrupt, selfish, power hungry politicians as we are today...it is clear our movement will cause pain for America but sometimes the wound must be lanced to remove the infection. Now is the time to cut the cord with the major parties and again trust a Higher Power with America's future. PATRIOTS REVOLT POSITION We oppose Barak Obama completely...PATRIOTS REVOLT will never accept this empty suit, anti-American candidate as president of the United States. We oppose John McCain for his past and current condition of Leftist pandering with nearly the same fervor. His actions confirm our belief he is not qualified, prepared, or understands the threats and needs facing America. With this said, McCain does rank ahead of Obama...with 100 being worst, Obama ranks at 100, McCain is at 99...one point improvement over Obama...both are without merit. If you research both of these men, you will find "what they say they will do to get elected" is far removed from official positions they have taken in the past. Their talk does not match their demonstrated past actions...don't be duped by election year rhetoric...we need presidential timber that has a solid conservative record of performance that can be verified as consistent with future proposed direction. WHAT CAN BE DONE? Supported by millions of American patriots: 1. Present the Republican National Committee and John McCain with a list of demands they must accept or risk all American patriots voting for a candidate other than McCain. 2. Convince the Republican National Committee (RNC) to conclude John McCain cannot win the election in November 2008 and delegates select no winner on the first ballot at the national convention resulting in a "brokered convention". (A brokered convention, where no nominee is selected on the first ballot, will seek Godly guidance in discussing, analyzing, evaluating, and voting to accept additional presidential nominations from the floor. The goal should be to nominate and elect a presidential candidate with credentials consistent with a Reagan vision for America to become President of the United States.) DISCUSSION: Below is a list of demands the Republican National Committee and Senator John McCain, presumptive Republican presidential nominee must agree to abide with in order to attract patriot voters, voters who place America before politics.Rejection of these demands will be considered a rejection against America and result in a voter rejection of John McCain, should he be the nominee. If Senator McCain and the RNC agree to heed these demands, rest assured any future political amnesia of the commitment will result in severe repercussions beginning with 2010 Congressional elections. Consider President George HW Bush 1992 fate after he ignored his "read my lips, no new taxes" commitment. If Senator McCain fails to heed these demands, millions of patriots will go to a "third party" candidate or a "write-in" candidate to be determined. Should a brokered convention occur, RNC must give these demands substantial weight in considering and selecting the republican presidential nominee. If you support PATRIOTS REVOLT demands and agree that America is in serious political jeopardy,with drastic action needed, we ask you to register your name, city, state, etc agreeing to reject John McCain if he ignores our demands, and support a "brokered convention if that occurs. Please don't sigh and say "we can't do that". We can and must do this. The political apparatus is not the decision makers...we are, the voters. What the delegates do at the convention is not their will, but the will of the American people. Only a small percentage of America, a few million, have said McCain is the choice...the other 250 million have not spoken. It will only take a few million of us to out number the primary votes McCain received and convince the republican apparatus a new candidate is demanded. If we want it to happen and speak loudly enough,McCain will go and a conservative will carry the republican banner in November 2008...and win the Presidency. PATRIOT REVOLT DEMANDS: We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that we WILL DRILL AMERICA, DRILL NOW, AND PAY LESS! It is unconscionable sitting on trillions of cubic feet of our own natural gas and billions of barrels of our own oil while begging Arabs for more. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to build more refineries, upgrade existing refineries, develop clean safe nuclear power, and disengage from initiatives that require more fuel than they produce. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that the borders WILL be closed and NO illegals will get ANY amnesty or special consideration. Legal immigration is the only way into America. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that employers of known illegals will be prosecuted. This will cause illegals to go home on their own…real wages for real Americans will rise. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that federal funding will be withdrawn from "sanctuary cities"…immediately! As Americans we must obey the federal laws… so should city officials… or de-fund and prosecute them. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that ONLY strict constructionist federal and Supreme Court judges will be nominated and supported in hearings! Abiding by our Constitution has worked to get us here... it will work for our future. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that NO new tax bills will be signed. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that there will be NO carbon tax schemes and NO so called "global warming" or "climate change" agreements catering to the fear mongers claiming "man-made" climate change. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that ALL congressional earmarks will be vetoed. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that Social Security will be reformed and made solvent to end any illegal scheme that will devastate the retirement of so many. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to oppose all forms of abortion, oppose embryonic stem cell research but support adult stem cell research, oppose same sex marriage, oppose civil unions of same sex couples, and support marriage as a union between one man and one woman. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to retain “under God” in our pledge of allegiance, our coins to retain “in God we trust”, and English declared the official single language of the United States. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to support official renewed emphasis on POW and MIA recovery efforts and an apology from Senator McCain for his unacceptable personal conduct toward POW/MIA, Swiftboat, and Minute Men activists. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment to stop the treasonous North American Union and the NAFTA Super Highway, rejection of Law of the Sea Treaty, and support United Nations withdrawal. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that active military, veterans/retirees and family members receive priority consideration for health-care, compensation, all earned support, equivalent to the priority given to secure our nation. We WANT an absolute, unequivocal, commitment that if United States security is threatened, before American military forces are committed, the President will request and Congress will issue a “declaration of war”. (Please note these "demands" do not speak to all conservative issues but are examples that should point RNC and John McCain away from their current pandering direction.) It is not likely we can ever match the sacrifice and courage of our "Founding Fathers" but we can at least develop an attitude willing to fight for the freedom sacrificed for us. The above quotes/principles taken from the US Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Gettysburg Address are threatened,even stolen by a corrupt, dysfunctional political machine that only cares about it's incestuous lust for power. We cannot allow America to sink because we failed to stand up. CONCLUSION If John McCain, and the RNC, acknowledge these demands and make strong commitments to support the demands, Patriots will be more likely to support the McCain candidacy if he is the nominee! The preferred action is for the Republican National Convention to conclude John McCain is the wrong candidate, refrain from a first ballot nomination, adopt "brokered convention" procedures, and select a new candidate.
